Hair removal treatment

Electro coaugulation (also known as thermolysis) is permanent hair removal procedure which utilises high frequency alternating current. This method requires the use of an extremely thin needle, inserted directly in the hair canal, until it reaches the hair follicle. The needle, fitted with electrodes, releases a small electric shock near the hair bulb, which heats up and hardens. After a few moments, the hair, without a root, can be painlessly removed with the use of tweezers. During the operation, the skin is never pierced, as the needle (or probe) is inserted into the hair follicle.
Procedure and results Thermolisis treats and removes each hair individually, one at a time, and is therefore a slow procedure. It is, however, particularly effective at removing thin hairs in small areas such as the lips, chin, ears, sideburns and neck.
It is also a unique solution for permanent hair removal of white hairs or hair residue after ineffective light and laser treatments.
